How accurate are the calorie estimates?

Cali uses AI to provide approximate estimates. They're great for general tracking but should not be treated as precise nutritional data. You can always edit entries manually if you know the exact values.

How do I delete my account?

Open the app, tap the header to open Settings, scroll down, and tap "Delete Account." You'll be asked to confirm. Once confirmed, your account and all data are permanently deleted immediately.

You can also email support@thecali.app with the subject "Delete my account" and we'll process it within 48 hours.

Is my data shared with anyone?

We do not sell your data. Food descriptions and photos are sent to Anthropic's AI for analysis but are not stored. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

How do I cancel my subscription?

You can manage or cancel your subscription through the App Store. Go to Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions on your iPhone.

The app isn't recognizing my food correctly

Try taking a clearer photo or describing the food in more detail. You can also type the food name directly. If the estimate is off, you can edit it manually by long-pressing the entry or saying "edit" in the chat.
